On April 26, Lu Pengqi, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) met with a delegation led by Marco Alemán, Assistant Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Beijing.
During the meeting, Lu introduced CNIPA's progress and practices in areas such as IP commercialization and utilization, IP finance, and the construction of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs). He reviewed past cooperation between the two offices and expressed anticipation for strengthening collaboration with the WIPO in these fields to achieve more practical results in the future.
Alemán outlined the efforts of WIPO's IP and Innovation Ecosystems Sector and commended CNIPA's contributions to the project of IP finance national report. He thanked China for facilitating international exchanges between TISCs and expressed a desire to further deepen cooperation in relevant areas.
